oh hi
For so long, I was proud of the title: social worker. I chased the clinical hours, the supervision hours, the next licensure (6 btw), the promotions, and the leadership opportunities. My identity became deeply intertwined with what I did.
This past year has been the biggest transition of my life. I moved my family to a completely new city and started over. I worked in a role that seemed to change my responsibilities every day. Through all of that change, I began asking myself a question I had avoided for a long time:
Do I even want this anymore?
The titles don’t matter. The promotions don’t matter. The external markers of success don’t matter if you’ve built a life that no longer feels like your own.
So I left it behind.
Not because social work wasn’t meaningful. It was and is. It shaped me, challenged me, and introduced me to incredible people who will be lifelong friends and colleagues who I respect so deeply. But somewhere along the way, I realized I don’t want this grind anymore.
Success, for me, no longer looks like climbing higher.
It looks like stepping away from behind the screens or the times I realize I havent been outside in days. No more corporate lingo or the google meetings and the circling back. It looks like creating art, being plugged into a real community of neighbors and a life that feels like my own.
Our Story
Our Values
Art is for Everyone
We believe creativity belongs to everyone. That's why we're committed to making pottery accessible through fair pricing, inclusive opportunities, and thoughtful, sustainable practices.
Creativity Belongs to Everyone
We believe creativity takes courage. Creativity is about expression and the bravery to begin, to make imperfect attempts and learn as you go. We are here to provide a warm, welcoming space where people feel supported to try something new, trust the process, and discover what they are capable of creating.
We create the kind of community we want to be part of—one rooted in kindness, respect, and encouragement. Everyone is welcome here, and every interaction is an opportunity to help someone feel seen, valued, and at home.
Community
We believe the best communities are built by people who are willing to keep learning. Around here, no one is expected to know everything—we embrace questions, curiosity, and the courage to say, “I don’t know yet.” We learn together, support each other, and create a space where everyone has the opportunity to grow and shine.
